Life with three girls and one boy can get pretty crazy. But we wouldn't have it any other way!!

First Snow Storm
This winter has been very active when it comes to snow. We had a decent snowfall in December. We probably got about 10" then. Then, in January, the temps warmed up a great deal. We had a few days of 50-65 degrees. So, all that snow melted. Then came along February..... Ugh! The first snow storm dumped over 18". And, the second gave us another 18-20 on top of that. Some areas of the ground have drifts over 4'. And then there were bare areas of grass. It was really hard to measure just how much snow we got because of the drifting. In the bottom 3 pics, there is a road that is supposed to be there. Our road was not cleared of a day and a half. And, when they did plow, they had to use a front end loader to move the snow off the road and over the banks. Then a plow came thru behind it and pushed the remaining snow as far off the road as it could. The snow storms hit within 4 days of each other. It was definitely exciting to see that much snow. But, after a while, it just gets on your nerves. :) The kids missed almost an entire week of school. So, now they have to go 3 extra days at the end of the year. Definitely a winter to remember!
