The fish that Lydia and Marshall are holding are ones that they caught by themselves (with a little help from daddy) at a fishing rodeo. The rodeo was just for kids. Lydia caught her limit of 5 and Marshall caught 3. An older kid took his spot when daddy was taking a fish off the line. That wasn't very nice of him. But, overall, they had a great time. And they tasted good too.
