Old Bedford Village

As part of our vacation, we took the kids to Old Bedford Village to see how they lived in the "old" days. They had so much fun. Heidi slept most of the time in the stroller. They have many activities planned throughout the day. There were gunfights and they scared Savvy when the cowboys shot their guns. The kids really liked going in the old homes and seeing how people lived. Lydia said that her favorite part was the horses and riding in the horse carriage. Marshall said that he just liked the whole thing. The bakery had the HUGE cookies that were only $1. We also ate some stuffed pepper soup. That was yummy. I would like to know how to make that some day. When we first got there, for some reason the people that were dressed up scared Marshall. He didn't want to go in any of the homes or saloons. He got over that fear though. It was an all around fun day. We definitely recommend it for anyone who is going to near Bedford, PA.
